Woman Killed in Island Walk Community

A few weeks back, we learned the news about a pedestrian being struck and killed on Yakobi Lane in the Island Walk real estate community in Naples. According to reports, the victim’s name was Renee Anderson Fiorenza. She was 86 years old, and was walking down the sidewalk when she was struck by Rolf Gunther Oppenheimer – a 92 year old man who was backing out of his driveway.

Renee was taken to the hospital, but there wasn’t much they could do to save her and she was pronounced dead. Apparently, alcohol wasn’t a factor. Read more about this incident on Naples News.
